Did I miss any steps?
1. clicked on site, and it popped up a smaller window, no banners, etc. like all the warning sites say
2. I said "Oh Shoot"
3. Deleted all my cookies
4. changed all important passwords
5. scanned my computer, and deleted the hijack program that was found.
Did I miss ANYTHING?

Check your computer's registry, make sure it's not in there?
I just had my vewwy first viwwus myself, and that was how I managed to get rid of it (knock on wood, cross fingers, etc.) after it *came back* the first time.
That, and obsessively running every virus scanner and adware/spyware scanner I could get my hands on, that is.
