Re: Christmas Grarrl
This is a colour younger players might enjoy, or someobdy who likes comical pets. I don't hate it, because it doesn't make that strong an impression on me. I'd have to say I'm indifferent.

Re: Christmas Gnorbu
Except for the lights, I love this pet. Great combinations of colour. The dark forest green goes well with the pale green shadows. The red is nice and doesn't clash. Overall, really nice.

Re: Wonderful new Desert Petpets!
I love the Psimouse and the Skylde! I was worried that the desert petpets would be overcrowded and busy, but these are great. They retain the essence of the original petpet, while also being Desertish.

Re: Royal Wocky
I like that they're using various cultures for the Royal paint brush. I suppose the wockies are supposed to be Russian? While they don't look like they'd take your breath away, they do look pretty decent. I don't like post-custom wockies, but the colour is good enough for what it's got to work with....

Re: New petpet - treasure chest
I have nothing to add, except that, like everybody else, I so love this petpet. One of my pets, definitely has to have it.

Re: Darigan and Skunk Xweetoks
I have a Xweetok, so I was really looking forward to this. I was REALLY hoping for Royal or Jelly, even though I'd have to zap for it. It turns out I don't care either way for these. Darigan... well, for a certain character type it would work, but it looks too sleepy for me. There's nothing wrong wi...

Re: Royal Pteris
I like both of these. They look elegant and refined, the way royal should. I agree with everybody about the dress, though. It just makes her look squished, which she actually isn't. I'd rather she had a fancy cloak instead. I'd be really curious to see what they both look nekkid. I'd probably like t...

Re: NaNoWriMo 2007 Support Thread!
My username on nano is gardenswing. I sometimes post on the forums, but I've decided not to put exerpts up on my profile, or I'll be too self conscious to write. I too am way behind. I'm at 1000 on day five. That's okay. I'm confident that I shall be able to finish nano AND my term paper. Confidence...

Re: NaNoWriMo 2007 Support Thread!
I am also taking part in NaNoWriMo, this year. This is my first year taking part, so I'm very excited. I'm not much of a regular poster here at neocolours, but I will post about my progress and my struggles here. I can do with all the nano support I can get. Except for my sister, who's also taking p...

Re: Zombie Aisha & Flotsam
The only thing that makes me sad is how awesome this could have been before customization, with body parts falling off and whatnot much like Subeta's graveyard. It's still nice, but *sigh* Technically, they could still do this. For example, for a future pet, they could could make one of it's body p...

Re: Zombie Aisha & Flotsam
Wow, this totally came out of nowhere! Here I was, waiting patiently for an altadorian paint brush, when they completely take me by surprise with ZOMBIES! I do like them, though. Nicely done. Now there are more than enough "dark" colours for people to choose among. I think they made things...

Re: [Harry Potter] Offered Without Comment
Dumbledore as a gay character is a very powerful message because he's a strong, important character. Even though he doesn't get always a ton of 'screen time' in the books, he's a leader, Harry's mentor, and incredibly improtant to Harry's emotional development. I don't really care for a Remus/Sirius...

Re: New Halloween petpets
I'm not crazy about the Dandan because, if I weren't familiar with neopets style halloween pets, it wouldn't be immediately obvious to what it was supposed to be. The pose of the Dandan makes the bone outlines a bit cramped to clearly see. I am fond of the Cobrall, though. I think it's cute that it'...

Re: Glowing and Faerie Jetsams
The faerie looks kind of... well, non-faerie-like to me. The colour scheme is basically electric. The wings remind me of flotsam faerie wings. But, I believe faerie flotsams were created before paint brushes started having awesome art. And flotsam wings look better than this because they look more l...

Re: Neocash cards
While I'm all for more people being allowed to play with the NC Mall, this idea seems a little odd. Isn't Neocash meant to be a way for people to donate money to the site ? As such, why would anyone want a Realworld shop to act as middleman (and, presumably, take a cut of the money)? Well, I don't ...
