Hmmm...I quite like the Royalgirl Draik the way she is. She's cute, and dignified looking and actually looks royal. She has that excellent coy look and the gorgeous bracelets and stuff..

This one doesn't strike me as being particularly royal. Perhaps the peasant girl with a heart of gold, but certainly not very royal looking.

Also, the royalgirl Draik has an interesting theme going on, and is WEARING PANTS, which may actually make her unique among royalgirl pets.

Edit: Plus, the proportion of her head (and eyeballs) to the rest of her body does not offend me as much as said proportions on other Draiks do. The draik in the first post of this thread is ... ugh, the eyes.

I'm not getting the impression of Royal from the one Checkers posted. She looks too juvenile, IMO.

I like the dress in that shopkeeper a lot. A lot of the royal girls' dresses aren't especially pretty, which is a pity- I love long, ornate dresses. However, the draik in the dress really isn't that nice- the head is huge and horrible. The actual pet art is some of the nicest draik art out there- the flying pose is so much better than the non-redrawn colours and looks so much more natural.

I like the Royalgirl Draik except for the hair. Reptiles should not have hair. Even if it's supposed to be a wig, I don't like the way it looks.

Reptiles shouldn't have cleavage, either. ;3

I don't like the current royal girl draik, but I wouldn't want the one checkers posted, either. Huge head, twig neck, Lego colors. ...Maybe if it were redrawn and given a different color scheme. Maybe.

The more I look at it, the more I like it.... I think I want one, now. Damn. I've got neither the space or the inclination to spend the money to get one. The shopkeeper, while good, really doesn't look Royal enough - I prefer what they've done with the current one.

checkers, were you being sarcastic about liking the shopkeeper version? Between the smiley and the title, I'm not sure :?

I like the crazy earrings on the shopkeeper, but the royal is an overall win, even if its a reptile and has hair and clevage.

If we're splitting hairs, I'm not so bothered about whether it has hair, or cleavage, but it's wearing clothes. And it's mauve. ;)

...How in Neopia does it get its clothes on, anyway, over its huge (compared to its body) head and feet? Great, now I've thought about this too much :P

Where is that first image actually from? It's the only Draik that I'd actually be enthusiastic about owning. In the main, I think they're overrated, but I'd love one of these little-princess ones.

The first image is a shop keeper, look for her in the (shockingly) Draik section.

I personally adore both royal draiks. The first one would be a good, um, peasant-draik. But Royal draiks are gorgeous <3

I think the tail looks terrible on the shopkeeper. It's too busy with all those rings and it barely looks connected to the body. It's a nice Draik image but it looks too generic to be royal.

The current royalgirl is gorgeous aside from the hair, but thats just my own opinion.
