I don't care so much either way, as I was not planning to get a Terracoon, but I do like the old one better. The shading was flatter, but the body language seemed more relaxed and comfortable. Even though the new one is smiling, the old one appears to have more facial expression.

It's my hope they'll release more easy to get sidebars so that new people who haven't participated in the older plots can still have some options.

I got the impression you were looking for petpets that would make good fighters, and that colour matching was secondary. Here are some pets that fit that category for me. Niptor http://images.neopets.com/items/petpet_raptor.gif , Zomutt http://images.neopets.com/items/petpet_spooky_gothpup.gif , Mut...

I love that toy. I'd probably buy it and leave it in my inventory so that the five year old in me could watch it and squee. The petpet itself doesn't really seem to fit in with the Neopets art style to me. It seems a little out of place in Neopia. That could be a good thing, though, because variety ...

I generally find speckled pets cute, so I like the speckled one. As others have mentioned, the pale green ears and nose are a nice accent, because they break up the pattern and prevent monotony. I might be the only person not bothered by the grey blumaroo, but that is only because I never paid much ...

I think the "icicle look" would have been nice. It would have looked like an elemental glacier-like creature. But, in terms of realism, I'm okay with smooth, rounded ice pets. Ice sculptures at weddings and expensive events are like that. However, I would have liked a paler colour. Somethi...

You could try some of the links here:

I haven't tried any of them, but hopefully one of them will have useful information.

Seriously, though. Steady on with the talk of quitting. After all, "pretty" or not, these are still the pets you created/adopted and loved. Neopet love should be, and in my case is, strong enough to transcend appearances. Well, you could say that it is kinder to freeze the account so that...

I'm kind of regretting how quick I was to defend the customization when it first came out. :( I guess I know better now. Still, they did say to wait until next week, so hold back my final judgement. I find it hard to believe they won't listen to a huge amount of us wanting an uncustomise button. But...

This one makes me think of a chocolate milk shake dispenser. If I had a pet that loved to eat, I'd give this petpet to it.[/img]

That was a problem answer, I agree. They have to realise that there are aspects to playing they simply can't control. It's not even a matter of us players not wanting them to control it, although we don't. They don't have the ability to control or enforce rules around it. That makes no sense!

As a kougra owner, I wouldn't paint my pet snow. If I was looking for a more simple, sedate colour I'd just go with brown and skip over this.

However, of all the uncreated kougra colours to release, I'm glad they chose snow instead of snot or strawberry. That would have been a travesty.

They could have made the grey one look depressed by changing the eyes and angle of the top cover. I'm glad they didn't though. Although many grey pets and petpet look pretty, I'm don't see the appeal of owning a miserable pet.

A thought that some of you probably don't want to hear, but will TNT realistically want to keep updating two sets of art? It might be optional at the moment, but when the old scorchio art has been replaced with newer and nicer drawings in the customizable art, will the keep the old ones? Or just us...

Remember that this is totally optional. If the props for the royal or island pets, like the crown or grass skirt, become buyable, it will help PB inflation a lot. On the other hand, the redraw paint brushes will still retain some value because of the individualized redraw art with the paint brushes....
